RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

To assess consumable and/or hygiene products and tools (such as shampoo, skin care, make-up, tanning, styling products/tools, etc.), it is not permitted to open the packaging and/or use the product.
The basic principle here is that the customer may only handle and inspect the product as he/she would be allowed to do in the store. The customer is liable for any reduction in value of the product that is the result of handling it that goes beyond what is permitted.
If you return a hygiene/beauty product, a 100% depreciation will be applied.

At BRUSH we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, inform us about your will to return at info@brushhm.nl. Within the 14 days the customer doesn't need a reason. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Van Hilligaertstraat 27h, 1072JX Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

 

Method of return

We request that you return the products to us in the original packaging and in the original shipping packaging or comparable box. All products that are returned are carefully assessed for use and possible damage. If the returned product is damaged as a result of use that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and operation of the product, if the product has been used or a seal has been broken, we may depreciate the value up to 100 % charge. Hygiene products such as cosmetics and hair care/styling for which the seal has been broken after delivery cannot be returned.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. The cost of returning the package will be paid by the customer and is equal to the price of shipment for the requested return option by the customer. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately, or at least within 48h after delivery, if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Unfortunately, in exceptional cases it may happen that during the processing of your order it turns out that a product you ordered is no longer in stock or does not meet our quality requirements. In this case, you will be credited with the purchase price of the item, standard shipping costs and standard return costs.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
