All over color applies to one universal shade from root to tip. You can choose any darker color that you like. We can even lighten your natural hair with an all over color up to 2 levels if it is 100% virgin, so never coloured before.

This all over color can be either permanent or semi-permanent. It's ideal for a complete color change.

Root color is a more traditional color service to target only the new growth in the period till < 8 weeks after your last color service. It is typically permanent for gray coverage or semi-permanent for a softer look. If you have noticeable roots, book a root color; if you want a full refresh, choose all over color.

Therefore we will always advise to use Semi-permanent colors unless permanent color is necessary for covering greys or a previous "accident". A toner or sometimes also called "gloss" is applied after bleaching or coloring to adjust the hue, add shine, add warmth and color or to reduce brassiness. It’s essential if you desire a specific shade or a polished finish after highlights or balayage. Book a toner if your color looks too warm, too cold or needs enhancement.

It’s not necessary to wash your hair before your appointment, as we’ll take care of washing and prepping your hair for your treatment. However, we do recommend that you avoid using too much dry shampoo or hairspray, as these can affect the process.
